An eight-episode conspiracy thriller about a group of young comic enthusiasts who discover that the threats to humanity in a graphic novel are actually real. When the ragtag group of friends realizes that there's a truth hidden in the pages, they decide to embark on a perilous adventure to stop the end of humanity in a world not too dissimilar from ours. The show is adapted from the 2013 British original Utopia but is not as violent. The dystopian show follows unique characters like Dr. Kevin Christie who is a bio technician who hopes to change the world, Michael Stearns on the other hand is an underrated scientist who is an expert on deadly flu, Jessica Hyde who is the daughter of a genius, Ian is an outlier working at a dead-end job living with his grandma, Arby a man-child with violent tendencies, Becky a kind and sweet girl fighting a severe illness and Wilson Wilson a paranoid conspiracy theorist.
