Welcome Home Plot

Anuja is a school teacher struggling with her life due to the misogynistic society around her. Her father and her fiancé both want her to leave her job and become a decent housewife. She meets Neha who saves Anuja from the advances of a male teacher. Anuja gets called to the collectors office to help with the NPR census and partners with Neha for the job. Anuja and Neha start their data collection and stumble upon a solitary house at a remote location. They take shelter at the house when it starts to rain and meets a pregnant woman named Prerna. They notice the residents odd behaviours and quickly leave. After returning, Neha faces her angry brother Naru who is extremely controlling. After a few days, Anuja and Neha talk about Prerna who they suspect is a victim of domestic violence. They visit the house again and face a terrifying situation.
