Bulbbul Plot

In nineteenth-century Bengal, Bulbbul gets married to Indranil, a Zamindar, when she is just five years old and grows up in her husbands house. Satya, the youngest brother of Indranil, is of the same age as Bulbbul and therefore both of them get close. Indranil, seeing them together gets jealous and sends Satya to London for studies. When Satya returns from London, he notices a stark change in Bulbbul. She has taken over the house as the head since Indranil left the village. Mahendra, the middle brother, has died in mysterious circumstances. His wife now lives in the outhouse. Satya finds the change in Bulbbul absurd but hides his feelings. While he is trying to grapple with all the change in his house, men from his village start dropping dead under mysterious circumstances. He sets out to unravel the truth and settle the hysteria in his village once and for all.
