Bhoothnath Returns Plot

A comedy-drama, ‘Bhootnath Returns’ centres around a tale of friendship between a young bratty slum boy, Akhrot, and a not-so-scary ghost of Kailash Nath a.k.a Bhootnath. Set in Mumbai, after Bhootnath’s visit to Bhoothworld, where everyone mocked him for his abilities, he returns to Earth to prove his worth as a ghost and scares off a kid. When he tries to scare off Akhrot, he fails miserably. Later, he befriends Akhrot and asks for his help to scare off some kids. Akhrot agrees, but in return, he wants Bhootnath to help him join a group of boys to play with him. Bhootnath asks him to live his life with honesty and they devise a grand plan to help him, by sending back ghosts to Bhootworld from half-constructed building sites. When a local gangster and politician, Bhau hires Akhrot to evict one of his construction sites, initially he agrees but later he refuses. Bhau threatens him to complete the task but he puts his step down. Akhrot convinces Bhootnath to run against Bhau in elections. What makes Akhrot refuse the Bhau’s offer? Will Bhootnath really take part in Akhrot’s plan?
