This is a psychological thriller that includes two detectives, a rookie and a veteran, all working together to track down a serial killer who rationalizes his crimes as a release for the worlds ignorance of the 7 deadly sins. David Mills is a rookie Detective who is accompanied by a veteran Detective, William Somerset and together they trace each and every step of the killer as they come closer to a ghastly fate that neither of them could have imagined.

They find hacksaws beside them and they try to cut loose of those chains to get out but fail. As flashback begins, it is seen that the game is designed by the Jigsaw Killer who never really kills his victims but makes them kill themselves or each other in the process by making them believe that they do not have a choice or a way to get out without doing what they are told to do.

Traumatized, they stop at a gas station where the proprietor tells them the pumps are out of gas. The group then stumbles upon an abandoned house. A huge mute man, Leatherface, brutally kills Kirk with a hammer. When his girlfriend Pam enters the room, she sees the room has furniture made out of bones. Will the group of friends survive this house and murderous Leatherface?

University students Josh, Oli and Paxton, go backpacking across Europe. The group, in Amsterdam, goes to a nightclub followed by a brothel. They stay out past their hostel's curfew and accept an invitation to stay at Alexei's apartment. Alexei convinces them to go to Slovakia instead of Barcelona with a promise of desperate women. In Slovakia, Josh and Paxton go out with two girls and Oli stays behind with the desk girl. When the two return, they find out that Oli had checked out. Later, a Japanese woman approaches the two with photos of Oli and her friend Yuki. The two also receive a photo from Oli with a message that he is home. The same night, Paxton convinces Josh to stay to meet with the same woman from before. The two are drugged and find themselves in a dungeon like room. They are tied and someone tries to maim them with a drill. Did Oli really go home or is all this a part of a larger, more sinister scheme?

Freddie is an inept bank clerk with no future. His only hobby is collecting butterflies, which gives him a feeling of power and control that is otherwise totally missing from his life.
