Fight Club begins with an unnamed narrator being utterly dissatisfied with his life and his job. He has earned himself regular dosage of insomnia. The narrator attends a support group and there he meets another sufferer like him, Marla. Both of them seem to connect with each other very well. The story goes on and the narrator meets a soap salesman, Tyler, and from here the story takes a turn. The two men fight with each other to release their aggression and this ultimately gives birth to a 'Fight Club' at the basement of a bar. This incident gathers a lot of public attention and frustrated men start coming there to fight each other off, as a form of recreation. Soon enough, a lot of such fight clubs open up all across the country, which paves way for a new kind of revolution against the establishment.

Four engineers namely Robert, Abe, Aaron and Philip are working on an invention in Aarons garage. One day while running some tests, Aaron discovers a development in the main unit and tells Abe about it. Together they arrive at the conclusion that what they have developed is actually a time machine. They then decide on using the time machine to make it big in the stock market by using it to travel in time and see how the stocks are playing out in the market but little did they know that it is not so easy to trick the time and they have to pay for it.

A very talented ballerina, Nina, lives in New York but practically lives and breathes dance. When the role casting begins for a play named Swan Lake, Nina is the first person who the artistic director, Thomas, thinks of. Nina is a very innocent girl full of dreams. Things start taking a toll on her due to the negativity around her, one of it being her mother who is a former ballerina herself. Soon, she comes across a competitor named Lily who is also being considered by Thomas for the play. Swan Lake needs a dancer who can play the role of the White Swan for which Nina is appropriate and the Black Swan which Lily is perfect for. All this rivalry leads to the development of a strange friendship between Nina and Lily and Nina begins to get in contact with her dark side.
