Poonam lives in a middle-class family with her uncle and aunt after her parents passed away at a young age. Her aunt isn’t in favor of Poonam because she makes her own daughter Rajni look less beautiful. Impressed by Poonam’s values and way of living, a family friend and jeweler, Bhagatji takes a marriage proposal to Harishchandra for his youngest son, Prem. Initially, Prem and Poonam find it very awkward to talk but at the same are attracted to each other. Their love story is filled with innocence, simplicity and pure love which is put to the test when Poonam’s house catches on fire on the eve of her wedding day.

Andaz Apna Apna
Two lazy youths, brought together in a chance encounter, believe that the key to success lies in marrying a rich woman.
